The scheme âAGR-50 Scheme-Assistance to Purchase Tractorsâ was started by the Department of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Co-operation, Government of Gujarat in the year 2011-12....
The financial assistance is given to farmers for the purchase of tractors as below:
a) Upto 40 PTO HP Model Tractors: 25% of expense or âč45,000/-, whichever is less.
b) Above 40 PTO HP and up to 60 PTO HP Model Tractors: 25% of expense or âč60,000/-, whichever is less.
Eligibility (who can apply)
The beneficiary should be a permanent resident of Gujarat State.
Any farmer of Gujarat state is eligible under this scheme.
The beneficiary farmer has to purchase the empaneled tractor model of the manufacturer included in the empanelment prepared for the purpose of prize discovery announced by the agriculture department from time to time for tractors from their authorized dealer.
