Construction of a durable house with a carpet area of a minimum of 19.20 sqm (207 sq. ft) with at least 2 rooms for LIG households as a credit-linked subsidy.
Financial assistance up to тВ╣75,000 under the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme for LIG houses.
Additional cost to be borne by beneficiary through own resources, MGNREGS, SRWP, or bank loan.
Houses to be constructed as per government-approved model (Annexure-A).
Land ownership and geo-tagging are mandatory for the beneficiary.

> In case of Credit Linked Subsidy, funds are disbursed in installments through bank/post office account based on progress certified by the Housing Selection and Monitoring Committee.
The applicant should be a bona fide resident of the State of Meghalaya.
The applicant should belong to the Economically Weaker Section (annual income up to тВ╣1,00,000) or the Low Income Group (income between тВ╣1,00,001 and тВ╣2,00,000).
The applicant should be 18 years of age or above.
The applicant should not have any other member from the same family living under the same roof as a beneficiary under the same scheme.
The applicant should not own a pucca house in their or any family member's name.
The applicant should possess their own land (for construction in case of a dwelling house).
The applicant should submit the EPIC (Electors' Photo Identity Card) or any other valid document as proof of residence.
The applicant should not have received any previous housing loan or financial aid from any other government source in their or their spouseтАЩs name.
The applicant should construct the house personally and not through a contractor.

Visit the Block Development Officer (for rural areas) or District Housing Officer (for urban areas).
Obtain the prescribed printed application form issued by the Directorate of Housing.
Fill in the form with all personal, income, and housing details.
Attach required documents (EPIC, income certificate, land proof, etc.).
Submit the filled application to the same authority (BDO or DHO).
BDO/DHO prepares a list of beneficiaries and sends it to the Block/Urban Level Selection and Monitoring Committee.
