Chhattisgarh State Government started a scheme "Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana" for Building and other construction worker on 01 March 2023.
Registered construction workers can receive a subsidy of up to тВ╣ 50,000 for interest payments on loans taken from a financial institution or bank for house construction or purchase.
Registered construction workers with continuous live registration for at least three years.
No existing residence in Chhattisgarh in the worker's or family members' names.
Only one beneficiary per household can receive subsidy.
Maximum land area: 500 sq ft in urban areas, 1000 sq ft in rural areas.
Housing construction on government-leased land is permissible.
Selected property should not be under any dispute..
Land diversion/building permit from the concerned Chhattisgarh government department is required if the worker owns land or is purchasing a new house.
