The worker should be engaged in building or construction work under the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
The worker should be registered with the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
The worker's membership with the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board must be active.
The child of the worker should be mentally retarded/disabled and dependent on the registered worker.

**Step 1:** Take the print of the [prescribed format](https://bocw.hp.nic.in/pdf/formno27_A1b.pdf) of the registration form.
**Step 2:****** In the form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste a passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).
**Step 3:****** Submit the duly filled and signed registration form to the Labour Officer.
_* A one-time registration fee must be paid at the office, and it will be valid for three years._
