The applicant should be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh.
The applicant should belong to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), or Other Backward Classes (OBC).
The applicant's annual income does not exceed ₹50,000/-.
The applicant should not have his own house.
The land in the applicant's name should be in the revenue record for the construction of the house.

**Step 1:** The interested applicant can download the [application form](http://esomsa.hp.gov.in/sites/default/files/Swarn%20Jayanti%20Ashray%20Yojna.pdf) from the official website.
**Step 2:** In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
**Step 3:** Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the Concerned District Welfare Officer/Tehsil Welfare Officer.
**Step 4:** Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the Concerned District Welfare Officer/Tehsil Welfare Officer to whom the application has been submitted.
Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable).
