**Coverage**
The scheme applies to students pursuing non-professional courses in government and government-aided colleges and universities in Haryana.
**Good Conduct Requirement**
Scholarship installments are released only upon obtaining a good conduct and attendance certificate from the principal/head of the institution.
**Reinstatement Condition**
If a student drops out but re-joins and attends at least 50% of classes in three months, both the previously due installment and the current quarterтАЩs installment are released.
**Mode of Disbursement**
Payment is made via electronic transaction to the studentтАЩs bank account.
In exceptional cases, payment may be made through a demand draft.
The applicant should be a grandchild (third generation) of a freedom fighter.
The applicant should be a resident of Haryana.
The applicant should be enrolled in a government or government-aided college/university in Haryana.
The applicant should be pursuing a non-professional course.
The applicant should have passed the previous examination based on which admission was granted.
The applicant should maintain satisfactory attendance and conduct.
The applicant should not have failed the previous yearтАЩs university examination.
**Reinstatement Criteria:**
