**Financial Assistance for Pilgrimage Travel Expenses**

• Upto ₹5,000/- per person for travel by State Transport (ST) buses.
• Upto ₹7,000/- per person for travel by Private Buses.

_*The financial assistance provided is subject to actual travel cost or the above-mentioned amount, whichever is lower._

_*Only group travel is allowed (minimum 20 pilgrims required)._

Eligibility (who can apply)

• The applicant must be a senior citizen aged 60 years or above.
• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
• The applicant must not have availed of the benefit previously under this scheme.
• The applicant must be physically fit to undertake the journey.
• The pilgrimage must be booked through an authorized travel agent/organizer.

How to Apply

2. **Step 1:** The interested applicant should take a printout of the [prescribed format](https://yatradham.gujarat.gov.in/Documents/Scheme_2022-8-23_752.pdf) of the application form.
3. **Step 2:** In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields (details of the authorized travel agent/organizer, details of the pilgrims), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
4. **Step 3:** Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to your nearest District Social Welfare Office.
