Privacy

KnowMe is designed to work without knowing who you are. Here is exactly what is stored.

If you create a quiz

We store the name or nickname you type, your quiz title, description, theme, questions and correct answers. Your browser gets a random cookie that links it to your quizzes; we store only a hash of that value. There is no email, phone number, password or account.

If you generate a manage link, only a hash of it is stored. If you use the question generator, the text you type is sent to our AI provider to produce questions and is not stored by us.

If you take a quiz

We store the display name you type, your answers, your score, the time you played, and a random token your browser generates so the same quiz can't be submitted twice from one browser. The token is not linked to any identity.

What we don't store

IP addresses are used transiently for rate limiting and never written to the database. We do not store user agents, precise locations, contacts or anything from your social apps. Product analytics record only event names (such as “quiz created” or “result shared”), the quiz involved and the share channel.

Deleting

Delete a quiz from your dashboard and it disappears immediately along with every response to it. Quizzes that receive several independent reports are hidden automatically.

Rules

Quizzes must be about you. Don't make quizzes that impersonate real people, harass anyone or share private information about others. Anyone can report a quiz from its result screen.
