Codesala SEO is a free web toolkit for search engine optimisation, built and operated by Codesala. It groups 53 tools into five areas: audits, generators, keyword research, links and AI writing. Every tool can be used without an account. A free account is only needed to download or save reports.

• Audit and technical tools fetch the URL you enter from our server at the moment you run them and read the HTML, headers, DNS or SSL details directly. Results reflect the page as our server sees it, which can differ from what a logged-in visitor sees.
• Keyword tools use Google autocomplete suggestions, which show real queries but no search volumes.
• Generators run entirely on our server from the values you enter.
• AI writing tools send your prompt to a third-party language model (Pollinations by default) and return the draft. Always review AI output before publishing.
• Website Lookup uses ip-api.com to locate the server IP.

• Audits check one page per run, not a full-site crawl.
• The Page Speed tool measures server response, HTML size and asset counts from our server. It is not a Lighthouse or Core Web Vitals field-data test.
• Keyword Difficulty is a heuristic from keyword length and suggestion breadth, not a SERP backlink analysis.
• Domain Authority shows Open PageRank data when that integration is active. Otherwise it shows a clearly labelled placeholder that does not measure links.
• Backlink discovery is limited to on-page link counts. A full referring-domain list needs a paid backlink database.
